Route 66

Bob, Karon and Holland follow the Mother Road from Chicago to Los Angeles, detouring to Las Vegas and finishing the trip in San Francisco.

Plenty of planning went into this trip. Flights were booked – in to Chicago and out from San Francisco, a hire car, accommodation along the way and tickets/bookings for some of the attractions. It was a pretty full itinerary but we still had time to explore.

After a long flight, we went to bed pretty early. Next day, before picking up our Ford Explorer 4x4 we had time to explore a little of Chicago.
