London Eye, March 2006

Karon, Holland and Bob went up to London on the Train, for a ‘flight’ on the London Eye and a wander afterwards.

The train up to London isn’t cheap – if more than one of you are traveling, it’s cheaper to drive and park as long as you stay out of the Congestion Zone. Still, it makes a change and means I can have a beer if I want. Once there we headed for the London Eye, not far from Waterloo Station. We had to queue but it went down pretty quickly. The views over London were fantastic. Afterwards we walked along the embankment across Westminster Bridge and headed for Leicester Square for some food and ice-cream in Hagen Das.
