An impulse decision to get away for a weekend. A quick search on the web found a hotel in Hope Cove, South Devon with a vacancy, so we both managed to get Friday afternoon off for a quick getaway. We took our paints for a practice run before we head off to Italy next month for a week’s painting.

The wheels are driven hydraulically and the platform is high enough to stay out of the water, though on choppy days you can still get soaked. If it's too rough, it won't run.
