In August 2015 we loaded the Pino into the car and headed for Dover. Our eventual stopping place for a week would be Frymburk in the far south of the Czech Republic, to take part in the International Tandem Rally, but we had plans to stop over in a few places on the way there and back. On the outward leg we stopped over at Leuven in Belgium, near Worms and at Passau, both in Germany. On our return leg we stopped on the fringes of Munich, Strasbourg and Mons.
There were a few pairs at the ITR from our ‘Thameswey’ group of the Tandem Club, so we at least knew several folks, including Peter and Shirley, above, on the ramp for the ferry across Lake Lipno back to Frymburk.
