Our first venture to the far east. Though tempted by Japan, we decided upon for China. Not wanting to trust lady luck too much, we played it safe and looked for a tour company to take the brunt of organising such a trip off our shoulders. Neither of us speak the lingo and just getting there was daunting enough. After asking friends and searching the web, we settled on ‘Voyages Jules Verne’ and after browsing the brochure decided on “China the beautiful’.

The rest, as they say, is history. Well actually it’s over 3,000 photos! Don’t worry – I haven’t posted them all. Just a variety to give a flavour of our three weeks in the orient.
